Public Procurement Post Brexit Briefing

The end of the Brexit transition period has given government an opportunity to look at whether the existing public procurement regime was fit for purpose.

Just before Christmas last year, the government launched a consultation, “Transforming Public Procurement”, on its proposals to overhaul the procurement regime.  It explained that it viewed this as an opportunity to increase innovation and to win more business and improve public services.
