Homes England Summer Learning Programme

Homes England are putting on a series of webinars specifically aimed at English Local Authorities and they have kindly provided details for ACES members.

I am delighted to let you know about the launch of the Local Government Capacity Centre’s Summer Learning Programme, which offers 14 free knowledge-sharing webinars to local government to support the development of housing and regeneration in line with Homes England’s new Strategic Plan. Attendees will gain continuous professional development (CPD) accreditation certificates after the sessions.  

This is another step in our work to support local government’s capacity and skills and builds on extensive research. Many thanks for your contributions to this work.   

Local government is a vital partner to Homes England. Supporting the capacity that local government needs is crucial if we are to meet our joint ambitious objectives.   

Having spent my career working in local authorities, I am pleased to have the opportunity to work with colleagues across the sector to build further on the relationships between local government and Homes England, and to develop and share the resources, tools and best practices that are so important to us all.
