NHS Wales Shared Services Partnership – Specialist Estates Services (NWSSP-SES) is an organisation committed to championing patient centred sustainable healthcare environments.  We achieve this by providing professional and technical estates related services to the Department for Health and Social Services at the Welsh Government and NHS Wales.

This opportunity has arisen within the organisation’s Property function which provides a broad range of property support through a team of chartered property surveyors.

Property Surveyor (Primary Care)                    Cardiff based

£46,840 to £53,601 pa

We are looking for a general practice Chartered Surveyor to provide property support and advice on the primary care estate to Health Boards in Wales.

You will advise Health Boards on the reimbursement of rent to GP practices, assist in the improvement of GP premises, support the development of new primary care schemes and provide advice on wider property management issues relating to the primary care estate.

To fulfil this role you will be a Chartered Surveyor with detailed knowledge and experience of valuations, rent reviews, property development processes, land transactions and lease management.

A full-time appointment is preferable but part-time working may be possible. We currently operate a hybrid agile model of working.

We have an opportunity for an experienced Estates Officer to join a busy Estates and Property team, gaining hands-on involvement in a broad portfolio ranging from asset management to major economic development projects.

Hastings Borough Council are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Estates Surveyor to play a crucial role in the day-to-day management of the council’s property portfolio. The successful candidate will provide a professional and efficient estates and valuation service covering the Council’s landed property interests, including industrial and miscellaneous properties.

Some of the key responsibilities are:

• To effectively manage the Council’s tenanted land and property assets, undertake lettings and ensure tenant’s compliance with repairing and other covenants.
• To carry about valuations of Council owned properties for various purposes.
• Assist with the Council’s land and property disposal programme.

Hastings Borough Council are seeking a Senior Estates Surveyor to undertake the day-to-day management of the Council’s non-operational land and property portfolio and to provide a professional and efficient estates and valuation service.

The ideal candidate will:

• Be a Chartered Member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (MRICS) or equivalent.
• Have experience providing an efficient and cost-effective estates service
• Have experience in negotiations in respect to acquisitions, disposals and lettings.
