Grassum leases/ground rents

Valuing our commercial heritable interests (Scottish Equivalent of English Freehold) which are subject to long leaseholds.                                                                                                                               

Annual rents vary from peppercorn to £32,000.

Russell, my authority doesn’t have any sales evidence from our own assets but like you we do have a (small) portfolio of  ground leases so I like to keep track of other sales as the results are often surprising.  I find that most of the larger Auction agents regularly include these type of investments in their sales. As I’m sure you’re aware, the lots and results are easily accessible via their websites.  Try Bond Wolfe for instance Property auctions West Midlands, buy or sell at auction – Bond Wolfe
